| Not to mention, getting non-conference games with tough teams is not easy. The top teams do not want to play a KU or KSU team for the same reason, they want the rankings based on schedule. Since neither Kansas team is pre-ranked high, or will be, it does the top teams no good to play them. The fuzzball teams will play them because it helps them, even if they lose.
