Unfortunately, this can also go for the droves of people who left Dodge with out any fight to help improve it at all. They saw the neighbors house and ran there as fast as they could.
I have to say that I just don't understand why, if someone does something wrong and it is found out that they are in the country illegally, it isn't mandated that they be at least reprimanded. I am ALL for people coming to this country. I am ALL for families looking for a better life but when you can't follow the rules of the land then, why are you allowed to continue? At the very LEAST there should be a 3 strikes law or something. I would probably be considered a bleeding heart liberal by the standards of
DC but I can tell you that I am not about to sit around and watch people who don't even care about the city throw it away. It is one thing to come here to make a better life and it is another to just come here to break law after law. I don't even want legal people walking around this city thinking they are above the law and don't have to follow the rules like everyone else.
I wish I knew what could be done.
