As for the OP, I am very much a christian and am certainly more offended by the preacher charging than by you calling him out on it. I think it shows where their their focus has landed. My grandpa was a preacher and they were always poor. If he had anything above what they needed, he would give it away to someone who needed it more and he would do it quietly. I admire that sort of living. I don't admire using God's name to make a profit. Seems very much like they are selling fear. |
