All those that don't would fill up thousands of books...so it's NOT the norm.
that should open your eyes a bit. Just because you can't see them doesn't mean they're not there. Of course it's your choice to spend your dollar w/ whoever, I'm not saying otherwise. If I don't see them then it's no big deal. I'm talking about people with metal in their face and such. To each their own, I don't mind them doing it. If someone wants to pierce their whole face I say go for it...that's why I serve this country for choice..but I also have the choice to not have that person wait on me, sell me insurance etc....
The point I was trieng to make is that they ARE becoming the norm, they are more popular than ever before. Alot of jobs are accepting them more. Sure, but I would venture to say that a lot MORE professional jobs don't allow it...
What do you have against people with tattoos and piercings? just curious. Not a thing...I have thought about getting a tatoo myself. I kind of like them. I think there are certain tatoo's and tatoo's in certain places that are just tasteless.... | The bottom line is people look at appearance first and foremost...Is it right...I don't know but that's human nature. When you sit down with a broker, insurance agent, sales person, etc they usually dress very nicely because they want to make a "good first impression". Perhaps having a face full of metal and a tatoo running up the side of their neck would work with a slight few people but lets be realistic...if is was as popular as you say it was then they would be doing it. The area you live in also has a lot to do with it...My Niece works for Deutschbank as a corporate trainer. She told me that they wouldn't even consider hiring someone looking like that to be a mortgage broker or the like. She used to work in a consulting firm and the same there. She's worked in cities all over the country and said she's never worked with anyone like that...NOW that doesn't mean it's not popular like you say but I was just curious if you know someone besides some guy in a book?
