you should also check out the cast, there's a guy named Bear that wanted to be able to stretch his earlobes enough to reach each around his head, which he accomplished shortly after the movie was made.
Why would I want to know about all of the different kinds of body modifications. I can read about it as much as I want on the internet and get both sides. I doubt if the movie talks about people doing it because they have low self esteem and want attention and I doubt if they mention the medical ramifications. It would be like watching a Michael Moore movie...
