| Wal*Mart, like many other local businesses, have put the emphasis on being bilingual rather than being a people person for its employees. I've seen some people say speaking more than one language is some sort of sign of intelligence, but personally my experience says the opposite.
Then most of our bilinguals speak fluent Spanish, but suck at English.
