| I eat at McDonald's quite often, and I can tell you that if you go through the drive through, you are bound to get burnt (not by their coffee).
You usually get cold fries and wrong order through the drive through. They are under the expectation that only 1 out of 10 will return to drive through to get order corrected or warm fries.
IF I have to use the drive through, I will not move from the window until I have gone through my order. If they need to fix my order, I will refuse to move forward until I receive everything correctly.
Oddly enough, I NEVER have wrong order when dining in.
