| I agree AoO. I can't remember one single job, and I've had a few in my 40 years of working, that I ever started that I felt was temporary. This may sound a bit naive, but every job I ever had I went into thinking this could be the last job I ever need. And that included carhopping at the Sonic.
Also, money was never an issue for me. I never refused to work somewhere because of pay. In fact when applying for a job and I was asked how much I need to start I often said Let me work for one pay period and you decide what I'm worth. If it's enough, I'll stay, if not I'll move on. I never once was disappointed in my starting pay.
I've always felt it was the employees responsibility to prove themselves first, not the employer.
