| That sucks. Why can't we just trust our health care professionals? I gotta tell ya - mine is the Chief of Staff at a major health care center up here. Met him when I first moved up here 15 or so years ago. He's about my age, we chat about the kids when I'm there. And he doesn't hesitate to involve a specialist when he thinks it's needed. It's just so rarely needed. When I had female problems, he was the first to tell me what was going on and that he wouldn't/couldn't treat it. But he gave me the name/number of a colleague that would and did. That's one thing I will never, ever complain about - the very best health care I've become accustomed to. I'm glad you were able to use someone else's experience to self-diagnose and get yourself the help you needed.
