| The state Medical Board will determine if he keeps his license. Course any hospital he has privileges at can suspend them for whatever they see fit. It's called Medical Staff Credentialing. No hospital "has" to employ you - no privileges - no job.
Course not all battery is a felony is it? Isn't there something like simple aggravated assault??? I haven't seen the story -
