| And thats my point. What if the world was forced to acknowledge global warming was occuring? Then the debate becomes is it man made, or a natural cycle? Now just imagine, because this is just speculation, but IMAGINE its man made. All the vehicle and industrial crap we're kicking up is warming up the globe. Pressure would be put on car companys to make more hybrid or "green" vehicles. They use less gas. Who's best intrest is that NOT in? Exxon. Chevron. OPEC.
So if you're a big oil company, and you LOVE mega bucks, then why would you point out that global warming is occuring? You wouldn't. In fact, if you were a SHADDY big oil company, or someone involved in making money from big oil, you might even go so far as to try to cover this up. Saying things like, well, we don't know for SURE that global warming is happening, it could be just a natural trend. It could be a freak thing, and the globe will cool off in a few years. And they could be right. But look at the data. Study the numbers, think for yourself. Then see what you think.
