I’ve heard some discussion about this and the movie in itself isn’t supposed to be such a big deal. There is a problem beyond the movie and that is the encouragement of young folks to read the books where the real anti-Christian message is conveyed.
And what better way to push that message to the children than to teach it in school. Scholastic.com offers lesson plans to make that easy.
