Giving it away to China

A few weeks ago President Bush took some credit for a Boeing sale of some 7xx's to China's Airlines. What wasn't mentioned is that China is positioning themselves to become the world's manufacturer of aircraft; which means a loss of skilled jobs here in the USA.

But China doesn't just want to buy planes. It wants to make them, too. That's where, for Wichita workers, opportunity courts concern.
It's nice to do business with someone, but why do we give them the technology too?
