If you have a concealed gun, and the place you enter does not check........whats the beef? Carry your gun and if you need to use it, then use it. Why are you worried about lawsuits, arrests and such.......the whole point is for your protection. The signs are for the business' protection (liability) because it is easier to say NO to ALL then to nitpick and say NO to SOME. If you carry your gun into, say, a store and they have a sign prohibiting them, then if you shoot some dumb son-of-a-bitch, the store is not held liable since they took reasonable action to prevent it. Do you think i am going to see some sign and go "Oh shit! Let me take my CONCEALED weapon and put it in my car."

As for the guy in Texas.........him telling the operator that he was going to kill these guys pretty much nails him. You can argue all you want about his fear and saving himself BUT he went OUTSIDE to confront them. If he would have shot them from INSIDE his house then I would think he had an argument.
We are talking legality, not emoition and hindsight (he shot two dirt bag thugs).
