Ahhhh - you belong in Overland Park - the land of the Tahoe's!!!!! Every soccer mom has one, or some other gas guzzling 4-wheel-drive (I just got mine out of the shop...just in time for some 4-wheelin! Yahoo!!!)
And don't worry about the housing market. You won't take nearly as much (%-wise) of a loss on your house there than we've seen up here. You'll be able to buy a lot more house for your money in 2008 than you would have in 2007. Think about it......housing is 'on sale', the schools here are great, if you live next door to an Ethiopian, he just might be an MD and the crime rate in Johnson Co is (
) just a tad better than
