That explains it really well Lurker. It’s all about creating the image that Bush failed at everything.

We are seeing progress if you get past the lack of reporting in the MSM. Too many in the media are invested in failure and won’t report anything but bad news. That’s why the reports from Iraq have become fewer over the last few months. No news is good news.

If public officials need to have a pundit explain what they mean whenever they open their mouth and stick their foot in, maybe they should keep their mouth shut. Or not be in public office in the first place.

Gizabo, I do “get the drift” and that has been discussed. There are issues of revenue sharing and fears of trouble between the Kurds in the north and Turkey if the country is split up. Plus the Sunni and Shia are too integrated in the rest of the country to easily divide them.
