Seems less than a year ago the government was talking about handing over drivers licenses to illegals and pretty much making being illegal a technicality. Why all the sudden a change to Mr Hardaz on the illegal stance? Again, I'm not complaining, in fact I say better late than never, I just feel like I must have missed something.
I mean Its not like its an election year. | The house passed H.R. 4437{edited}, the other day. I got a call today from an aide to Rep. Jerry Moran. I was informed of the passage in the house and was told that there were about 23 different amendments in that bill, from constructing a wall on the border, to employers having to do a better job of verifying, to helping with giving local law enforcement more power to pick up and hold illegals. I talked on the phone with the aide for about 5-6 minutes. I also asked if anything was known about how the Senate felt about the bill, and was told that the Senate was going to take a serious look at illegal immigration issues after the first of the year.
