| Okay, I emailed both Senators and our Representative for this district. I have posted the replies from the Senators, if not this thread another one. Today I got a call from Rep. Jerry Moran's aide in his office, I was informed of the passage in the house of H.R. 4437{edited}, and was told that there were about 23 different amendments in that bill, from constructing a wall on the border, to employers having to do a better job of verifying, to helping with giving local law enforcement more power to pick up and hold illegals. I talked on the phone with the aide for about 5-6 minutes. I also asked if anything was known about how the Senate felt about the bill, and was told that the Senate was going to take a serious look at illegal immigration issues after the first of the year.
