| I got my favorite thing that I asked for - a day of family, extended family (DIL's folks and siblings), our favorite X girlfriend of our youngest (wish he would wise up!) and the stray cop here and there. It was a glorious day. Kept the fireplace stoked, had waaaay to much food (took me an hour to find a home for it all), enjoyed the big kids playing with all of Colton's new toys, lots of pictures but most of all lots of peaceful times that will warm my heart in years to come.
Monetarily I got this fab matted and framed (by my DIL) old south signed print for my redecorated magnolia dining room(when I get it done), some "mee maw" clothes from Colton, a new book on Kate Hepburn, a digital picture frame (so I can have lots of pics in one frame), a comfy new robe to die for, and a beautiful piece of bling for my neck.
All in all a pretty memorable day. Thought it would be hard since my sis, but I found comfort in my thoughts of her watching from above. It was an aw some day!
