Anyone care about the Pats?

Well, the NFL caved in and now the reported "historic" event, the Patriots going for a 16-0 season by playing the Giants, will be telecast on not one but three networks, NBC/CBS and the NFL Network. While I dislike the NFL Network telecasting live games due to their unavailability (I went ahead and shelled out the extra 4 bucks a month so I could see my Boys beat Green Bay), I kind of have a problem with a game taking up 3 networks. The outcome is already given since the Giants have nothing to gain at all by winning. There is no way that team is going to let any of their star players get hurt going into the playoffs. The Pats also would be insane to let anything happen to their golden children, but you can bet Brady and Moss will be out there to get some touchdowns early on. If only the Bills could have held out and won last Sunday then this game would have been an awsome spectacle (The Giants would have had to win to get into the playoffs and the Pats for glory), but alas it did not happen and so we are stuck with this joke.
The only games that matter are the Redskins game (win or tie and they are in, which is likely since the Cowboys have nothing to gain by winning), the Vikings game (must win and Redskins loss for them to get in, which they should beat Denver easily) and the Saints game (talk about needing a miracle, they need to win and both the Vikings and Redskins to lose.....I think the Red Sea will part before this happens). While the Saints are my hard-luck-cross-to-bear team (I have been a fan since childhood, always waiting for "next year") I wouldn't mind seeing the Skins make it. That way 3 teams from my division would be in the playoffs giving me bragging rights to say all other divisions suck. lol
As for the AFC, the only games that matter are the Browns (they need a win and the Titans to lose, which since they are playing the Guys from Gay Bay {the 49'rs} should assure them a win, but I thought that against the Bengals last week) and the aforementioned Titans (They need a win or a loss from the Browns. They play the Colts who have nothing to prove, so they should win). I would like to see the Browns get in because, I mean, come on, who doesn't feel some sympathy for them? Well, Pittsburgh fans may not but we all know those freaks don't count....just throw them a Steel City beer and a brat and watch the feeding frenzy that ensues......(ok, full discloser....I do not like the Steelers, but I do like them better than, say, having my tonsils removed by a spoon, but it is close).

So, again, does anybody care about the Pats? I give them credit......they are good. I still don't like them, on a personal level. They just seem like a bunch of pretty boys ya' know? Maybe it is because they used to suck so bad that they aren't named after a city, they had to pick a whole geological area.......or maybe it is that smug Northeastern attitude.........I dunno, but I hope they win Saturday. I hope they go all the way to the AFC Championship. I hope they are winning in the 4th quarter....then lose it in the last damn minute due to a bunch of stupid penalties to the BROWNS as payback for the way they beat the Ravens! Yeah, I would LOVE, I mean just fricken LOVE to see that expression on that pompass ass Belicheck's face if his team lost at the last minute, to a damn field goal! Oh the joy!

Hahahahahahahaahah----hee hee-------Ok, ok, better now.............anyway.

Any comments?
