Detective pay, even currently, (You DCPD cops deserve more money!)would be a major pay cut by the way.

Perhaps Lurker heard they did give us the worst detective car back then. That car started on fire and had cans of hair spray jammed under the seat, glove box, trunk and gas tank.

Lurker as I said I was not trying to pick a fight. And part of what you said was almost true. We or I mean I, were not detectives very long. But we were part of an "All Star Cast" of who was who in the good old DCPD Detective division.
