| I have had this happen at Red Lobster and Olive Garden. I asked several years ago what and why.
I was told that while the tables are open, only one waiter or waitress per every three tables. So the tables can be open and will remain open until they have enough people to cover them.
Not such a bad policy if you are looking for hot food and good service at your table. |
