1) Visitor numbers come from market feasibility studies completed by national firms. The first, Christiansen Capital Advisors who contracted with Lottery in 2004 and updated in 2006, and provided in-depth market development detail re:the SW gaming zone. In addition, each applicant is required to provide a copy of an independent feasibility study. There are about twelve Gold-standard gaming market researchers in the US. All have been busy in Kansas. The 'million visitors' is a product of such independent research and not a number created by Butler or any other applicant. A little research on your part would have revealed all of this information and allowed you to present your facts correctly.
2) The third applicant (Epic Gaming) is interesting. Again, Old Timer, do your homework before creating another rumor. It is not Maupin land.
Who is behind Epic Gaming? Their lobbyist is Doug Lawrence (previously represented the Greyhounds, and then Ruffin), and now who?
