Congratulations. I can tell that you have never been that scared/depressed/worried/etc. I
never want to get to that point, but when you are, you are not thinking rational.

is the wrong choice and very bad for the surviving family. I hope you never get to that point, because, apparently, turning back is VERY hard and a very hard choice.
Maybe you have had this happen in your family and you are mad at the person for "taking the easy way out". It is not "the easy way". People suffer a great deal when taken to that point.
Sorry about my rant. I just feel so badly for those who do commit suicide. It is really not a choice, not a rational choice, anyway.
