| I heard, possibly wrongly, that our gang unit tries to get to "know" the gang members and deter them and their violence by "knowing" them and being their "friends." I really hope that I heard wrong about this...
I would like to see the gang unit get tough on picking them up for every little violation and the rest of the "system," to include prosecutors and the court, stepping up after the officers do their work and make them pay for their crimes.
