| From what I've seen on the news it's because of a large young peoples vote. What concerned me was the interviews of some of these young voters, and their reasons for their vote. Top reasons were "charisma" and "looked cool." Looked cool? WTF? just how old were these kids?
What has happened to our youths thought processes? While technology wise we are extremely advanced compared to our past, our mental maturity seems to have receded as much. 3000 years ago a 13 year old was trusted to rule a country, while today we can hardly trust them to go straight to school and back.
What scares me is to think what could happen if one of these screwy politicians decided to use the young voters? If one could rally all the potential young voters to go vote, it could make a difference in the outcome.
