| Something Fairly Big Going Down
Was out and saw police cars blocking streets on the 700 block of 13th. In fact I was heading south on 13th and an officer pointed for me to go back the other way. It was then I noticed another officer with gun drawn on the side of the house that I believe was 711 13th. I go home and hear on the scanner that another officer had just gotten a warrant signed. I'm assuming it involved the same incident.
Then I hear on the scanner a citizen wanted to STO (not sure what that means), with an officer about police with guns drawn with children playing in yards. I'm not a parent, but if I was and I saw that police were blocking streets and had guns drawn awaiting entry into a house, I wouldn't let my kids be playing in the yard with that going on. Maybe the parent should be doing some parenting and getting the children and themselves out of harms way instead of calling and wanting to talk to the police about other police enforcing laws with guns drawn.
By the way if anybody know what STO means and wants to share, I definitely wouldn't mind.
