You are exactly correct. It was campaign contributions, not tax dollars, that were spent to get back to Topeka in the middle of the night. If Pat had not returned, there would not have been a casino in Ford County - period. And, he took some serious heat from opposing legislators. For once, Old Timer needs to get a grip on reality.
