With the possibility of a casino in dodge, you know we are being looked at by many potential businesses. While I'm all for not sugar coating the news, I know we've also got to lookout not to shoot ourselves in the foot.
How would it look to potential new businesses if the Globe's front page had only the gloom and doom daily? For example.
TODAYS HEADLINE:
Dodge City continues to grow as a sanctuary city. As surrounding states deal with illegal immigrants Dodge City grows in leaps and bounds. Crime has never been higher, English is optional, as is insurance, and our population has exploded thanks in part to all the anchor babies being born daily.
Do you think this being printed in the paper would make any difference in how the city would deal with the issue? No! All it would do is keep any new potential businesses from considering opening in dodge.
I've noticed the Hutch news hasn't printed anything about the incident either. Maybe no information has been released to be printed yet? | You have a point there D
But if they are Internet savvy, they will check out Dodgeboard....
