Something else I think about Obama's chances:

I watched O'Rielly tonight and he had talk radio hosts on the show. It was a very good show, very imformative and he held each one to the flame on their personal positions. One of the hosts, I can't remember his name, was for Obama all the way. The man was black and made it very clear that he was for Obama because he is black. He stated "I have voted for white candidates my whole life." Now I give Obama credit because he has not brought his race up as a voting point but I believe it is people like this guy that will drag it into the mud. He, the host, said he would not vote for Obama if he was a white man. (He did say he would vote for him if he was white and running against Hillary because he hates her). I think this does a disservice to Obama and it is this kind of attitude that will cost him many votes. While the blacks make up a chunk of the Democratic votes, it is the whites who make up the biggest and I doubt they will like having that kind of blatant attitude thrown in their face. It is like the Simpson case, he was found not guilty BECAUSE he was black. Also, the Hispanic community in the big cities mostly do not like blacks ( according to seeing shows on the History Channel) and I doubt they would vote in large numbers for him. Now they may not vote for any Republican, but by their not voting at all it hurts him.
