I have had the pleasure of working with Steve for the past nine months at Rocking M Radio. He has been on a physical roller-coaster throughout that time, but he is such a fighter and hard worker that he did absolutely everything he could (very, very well I might add) to not let an ounce of pain show while he was on the air. He has been a mainstay on the karaoke scene around DC for years (including the Silver Spur), and was a referee for volleyball and basketball for many years as well. I went to him because I was interested in getting into refereeing, and he went out of his way to make sure I was able to jump through the right hoops to get started and even got me my first work of this basketball season. Rocking M Radio is in the final steps of negotiations to acquire a second facility in the Frontview Plaza in DC, and it will be named in Steve Brown's honor. Karaoke at Brandy's in Cimarron had a tremendous response, and thoughts and prayers are appreciated. Steve has made an enormous impact to the Dodge City area and will NEVER be forgotten.
