I do believe there is. Just as I know my mother sits on my shoulder as my guardian angel. She doesn't always approve of what I do or say, but she's always there. I just know it.
Hubby reacts to these kind of stories by stoically saying, "it just wasn't their time" or "it was just their time". That might be true, but I believe there's a Plan.
This particular thing happened for a reason - the man that saved the baby was there that morning for a reason. There truly is a Divine Plan. Or at least I believe there is. It keeps me from breaking co-workers' freaking necks sometimes!
