Her children would probably be grateful to just have one day with their mom - and the system argues over how much time he gets. To me if you confess that you did it - the next day there should be a hangin.
Just a waste of good money to give some a day in court, but it's what we do as a civilized society. I would like to be able to give the victim a day on earth to say goodbye to her children and family.
