I think the 2 opinions of the Dems make a lot of sense. Course that's what having a choice of who to vote for exhists. I'm pretty republican at heart but I am also very realistic and would rather work on a problem than continue to lay blame.

They want to control the hiring process, secure the borders, give those that will never go home a way to become US citizens, get rid of the criminals and go on with life.

For my vote that doesn't sound too bad - it certainly sounds humane and logical and besides there aren't enough LEO to even think about patrolling the border. I'm tired of the mouthing and no action by the other side. Besides McCain is pretty Democrat himself.
