How many people can say that they have been selling music for 30 plus years?

Paul Anka, Neil Diamond, Wayne Newton...........most of the performers at Branson..........the list is endless..........
Again, I like Tom Petty and he sounded great, just not football or sports type music is all. ZZ Top kicked butt at the Orange Bowl. Going to compare "Sharp Dressed Man"s energy to "Freefalling" by Petty? They get to play 3 songs at most..........I personally do not desire to hear 2 out of the 3 songs being slow is all. And, no, during a halftime performance is not all about the music it is about the experience. If it is about the music then maybe they should have Charlotte Church, Sarah Brightman and Josh Groban signing songs from "Cats" and "West Side Story". If I am jonesing for Petty, I will just turn on the Buzzard and wait....he usually plays right after Zepplin and before Thouroughgood.
