Just came from the Huckabee rally at the Plaza (Clarion Inn). Man! Crowds... big crowds of folks jammin' to get into the place. Cars parked several blocks away. The man
may not make it all the way to the White House (at least as President), but he may be selected as McCain's running mate (if Romney isn't). Well... knowing McCain's medical history... maybe Mike will make it to the big House afterall (just speculating). Nevertheless, we could do worse than to elect this man as the leader of the free world. Let's see... Huckabee first stopped at KC, then Topeka, then Wichita, then GC. How did we get so lucky? I had plans to be in
DC this evening, but staying in GC for the rally proved to be worthwhile.
The Republican caucus in KS is tomorrow. I'm not advocating a specific candidate in the caucus or in the general election in November... but just get out and vote. Nothin' I hate worse than to hear someone bitchin' about politics, only to find out they didn't "bother" to vote in the election. There. I said it.
