On the contary JW...Military people are TAUGHT to think for themselves because they have to make decisions and make them fast..often in life or death situations. IN order to make a decision it requires a thought process that begins with gathering facts and information to make an INFORMED decision and not acting on pure emotion. Soldiers are probably better thinkers, decision makers and leaders than most civilians.

DeBriefing is nothing more than letting you know what is classified and what isn't from your mission and what you can talk about and not. It's not mind erasing or anything like that. You sound somewhat misinformed about this stuff and I'm just trying to help you out with some fact. I'm not biased because I know we take all kinds of people in the army but it's such a small percentage.
