The only problem I have with your solution is, voting for the "other" party is no different. No change, more of the same B.S. Oh yeah there might be a small change here and there, but not in any of the things you care about. They are both about BIG GOVERNMENT and staying in power. If you really want things to change you should wait for a third party canidate to vote for. Of course that would be throwing your vote away to make a point, but to change to the other good ole' boy party is a waste as well.
If Ron Paul wasn't so waaaaaaaaaaaayy out there on some issues I think he says what the majority of people feel is the direction the country should take, which is less gov't more personal responsibility.
Somebody said in an earlier post that they hate the two party system. I agree totally but switching from one to the other for so-called change makes no sense unless you haved changed your position on some moral and personal positions, such as abortion, gun control etc.
