Okay, here is my partial list.

Billy Boy On Poison
They aren't going to be everyone's cup of tea but I got a little something for everyone. I saw them at The Roxy on wednesday and they are really amazing live. They are really young (16-18) but have something really special. They are a throwback to maybe the early Stones or when brit pop was really amazing. They are the real deal. These kids are amazing.

HoneyHoney
Again, not everyone's gonna love them. They have an amazing sound and the singer has a voice reminiscently of a young Debbie Reynolds or something. They are super great live and are really filling out their sound on their upcoming album. At times you think they should be putting out the next Bond theme and then other times you think they should be on a porch sipping whiskey with bare feet and babies running around. They are ones to watch for sure.

Rocco DeLuca and the Burden

Nevermind that this is my third suggestion on the IronWorks label. It's just that they are all three fresh on my mind since I just saw them in a showcase. Trust me, they are amazing. Rocco makes the girls swoon and the boys want to pick up a guitar to learn how to make the girls swoon. Their sounds is amazing and all their own. Love them.

Duffy
If you liked Amy Winehouse then you will LOVE Duffy. She is the real deal. Everything she plays in the UK is sold out. She is about to cross the pond so get ready for some Duffy love. Folks are going to love her here just as much. The industry is really pushing for her so let's see what happens!

Adam Tensta
He is a little Kanye-esque. He is from Sweden but he has this sound down. His song My Cool will probably be the hit of the summer. Don't quote me on that as I'm not psychic. I just think it is such a good song and as soon as he hits in the US "My Cool" will be everywhere.

Cherryholmes

Personally, I think everyone should love Cherryholmes. They are an amazing bluegrass/country family group with a really sad yet amazing story. After losing their oldest daughter/sister in a car accident around 2000, they realized that they were pulling apart. To counter act that, the parents started a regular family night that was mandatory. The parents were already both musicians and the family night quickly became a night of music. Each kids started picking up different instruments and now many of them in the short years they have been playing have risen to the top of their field. They now live on the road and pretty much continually tour. I can't even tell you which song to listen to first because they are all so good.

Okay, there will be more. I love me some music. Introduce me to some of your favorites.
