They had a piece on the news about this last night. HGH (Human growth hormone) has only been approved by the FDA for use in some growth disorders and sometimes AIDs patients. It has not been approved for building muscles, restoring youth, or performance enhancement. However it does all of these things.

A question I have is; since Stalone and Suzanne Sommers has openly admitted to taking regular HGH injections for cosmetic purposes, why have they not been on trial? Why do their doctors get a pass? I suppose their doctors have trumped up some medical reason why they should have access to HGH.

While HGH has been attributed to vitality and reversing aging, it is also linked to cancer, liver/kidney problems.
