That reminds me of my Dad’s run-in with the VA. He had hearing loss from being on deck next to the big Navy guns in WWII. He filed paperwork for partial disability on the hearing loss. The VA sent him additional paperwork to file. He sent it in and got more paperwork to file. This went on several times until he got sent the same paperwork that he filed in the first place. He took those forms to the VA, threw them on the guy’s desk and told him to roll them up as tightly as he could and stick them where the sun don’t shine. I imagine a WWII Navy vet had a little more to say then what he repeated to me. Shortly thereafter he started getting his payments without any addition paperwork.
