Since no one on
DB went, I will give my view. This was attended quite well, as it has in the past. The bar was great (Casey's Cowtown) and the food was good. The entertainment, on the other hand, was disappointing. 3 individuals singing to recorded music. They were not bad, mind you, but the entertainment was merely a dance. A small dancefloor was constructed on the gym floor, mid stage area, and people could dance to the music from the 3 individuals.
My only disappointment was that I could get that kind of entertainment at any of the local bars (no offense, Vin). I just expected something different than this, as the past entertainment has been entertaining.
I look forward to next year's banquet. Hopefully, I will be better entertained.
