Turns out #4&5 have some mild swelling and slight displacement and 6&7 have moderate swelling and displacement.
I've been refered to another Dr for an epidural to try to relieve swelling but I've got no real information as to what they are going to do to me and I won't be able to meet with him until shortly before the proceedure.
All they told me was not to eat a big lunch and to bring someone to drive me home.
I'm supposed to have an important meeting the day after this and I'm not sure if I shoudl cancel.
Anyone have a clue what they are going to do and if I should plan to NOT go to work the next day? |
Went through this the last 6 weeks. Had epidural injections once every 2 weeks. They will only do three. A little pin stick for the local and from there you won't feel the injection. They say not to drive for 24 hours, but didn't feel any different from the time I went in and the time I left.
I seen my doc today and am going to have 3 more injections a little different from the last 3. They will do these under, the way I got it, a cat scan machine.
As far as your meeting goes, if it was me, I wouldn't cancel, it was no big deal.
Now I am packing to go to Wichita to see my cardiovascular doctor to see how my ticker is after my latest heart attack. As often as I am in the Cath Lab, They need to leave the shunt in for a quick clean out, lol.
