I think you're sadly mistaken. This is the price WE pay for electing an oilman and his crooked buddies into the White House, for raising speed limits, for driving huge inefficient vehicles, etc. There is no shortage of gasoline or oil. If there was you wouldn't be able to buy it. Have you seen any stations with with a "Sorry we're outta gas sign" displayed. Hell, I could call a bulk dealer right now and order 10,000 galoons of fuel and they'd deliver it as long as I could pay for it. Quit drinking the Kool-Aid and think for yourself for a change.
