| Environmentalists do affect the prices. If a coal plant can produce electricity at X.00 a megawatt but has to spend $$$ to make the emissions cleaner who do you think they pass that cost on to?
If the electricity produced is 90% clean and it costs millions to get it to 92% is it worth the cost for just a little gain?
Do you think if we had a capacity to refine more oil, faster the price would go down? If you say no then how come the price goes up when we lose refining capacity when a refinery goes offline?
Who makes more off of a gallon of gas? The oil companies or the gov't?
