| Here's where I see a lack of respect.......
The leaders of the Latino community NOT holding those who bring that community down accountable.
Instead of stepping up and saying there is a problem, they would rather play the "poor us" game and try to rationalize it. If a large portion of your population, or demographic, are causing problems for the others, wouldn't you go after them? There are scores of illegal aliens here who are hard working, highly productive members of the community. They obey the laws and actually try to make their, and their families, lives better. On the flip side, there are many who are exact oppisites. They collect large amounts of welfare, steal identities, do n ot follow even the basic laws of driving etc.
Now, if the leaders would target those people, chastize them and point out that they bring shame and undo pressure upon the rest, then you would see some results. Instead, the leaders embrace them and make excuses. This makes the leaders unreliable and untrustworthy.
