| The thing is that many Ford, Mercury, Lincoln, GM, etc. cars are made outside the United States, using Mexican or Canadian workers. Many Toyota, Honda, Hyundai, BMW, etc. are made right here in the USA using hard working American laborers.
By the way the Federal Government awarded the tanker bid to Northrop-Grumann, a California based company founded in the 1930's and listed on the New York Stock Exchange.
