Does his sis still play piano in the band? When I saw Willie last (in '86, I think) at the Kansas State Fair, she did. She played her piano so hard that the single rose (in a vase) that she placed on the instrument at the show's start kept moving on it's own and had to be re-placed at the center after every 2 or 3 songs. Willie's great, I'll bet he had a good mix of country and rock in the show.

Despite his historical significance (writer of many of Patsy Cline's songs), my bet is that Waylon will prevail in matters of real consequence, being part of Buddy Holly's band, etc). Waylon walked the country/rock line better than anyone before or since. But Willie has my respect for all he's done. Glad you boys enjoyed the show... wish I coulda been there.
Yes, His sister was on the piano. It was a pretty good show I think. He played all of his hits combined with some stuff from his new cd. He also sang "Me and Bobby McGhee". The crowd was pretty lively and reacted well to his music. I wish they would have concerts here more often of this caliber or higher. Dodge HAD to make money off the show...every eatery in town was packed before the show.
