We all need to take a little responsibility ourselves, and if you get a DUI, then count yourself lucky and take the opportunity to change before you kill someone. | The business maybe shouldn't be responsible but what about the one guy sitting at the bar drinking himself into a stuper and then the bar watches him stumble out knowing he's going to drive home. (I've seen that situation) I have also seen places where they call the same guy a cab and not let him drive and even have one of the servers run the guy home. That is a better scenario than letter someone drive home smashed. A lot of smaller bars know most of their customers and who is driving and who isn't. Is it their responsibility....that's questionable. But if they could get a little involved our of it being the right thing to do and prevent just ONE DUI they not only do the customer a service but they also may be saving a life.
