| Carefull AofOne, You may be starting to sound like a liberal!! "If we can save just ONE life, its worth it"!
Just kidding, but again, you cannot expect servers to "know their customers". Some they will, other's they won't. What most do not understand is that a person is LEGALLY DRUNK according to Kansas law, but may not be exhibiting the sings of drunkeness. You are wanting someone to make that judgement? Others that drink often and be twice the legal limit, but not demonstrating the signs of drunkeness. You would then hold business owners responsible for something they are not trained in, as well as the servers.
Therefore, it is only a job for law enforcement officers. That being said, I would think that a server that sees the signs of a person being wasted SHOULD stop serving. But remember, if you quit serving a drunk, what is he/she going to do?
Head to another bar!
